New server radar
A fresh server is the best possible start in any PC MMORPG: no gear gap, an unspoiled economy and clans that are actually recruiting. So which one fits how you play?
| Game | Server / window | Status | Platform | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lineage 2 Essence | Mint (new player opening) | Open now | PC 路 EU | Fresh server, everyone starts at level 1. Free 3-star spellbook for new characters. |
| Black Desert Online | Seasonal server cycle | Rolling seasons | PC | Seasonal servers open on a cycle and are the intended entry point for new accounts. |
| Throne and Liberty | Fresh server per content season | Per season | PC | New servers accompany major content drops; joining one resets the power gap. |
| Lost Ark | New servers with major releases | Periodic | PC | Catch-up and fresh-start windows follow content releases; use them if you are arriving late. |
New characters on the Mint server can claim a free 3-star spellbook after creation.

How to judge a new server before you commit
- Age. Anything under a month old is a real fresh start; anything over a year is a market you are entering late.
- Timezone. A server that peaks while you sleep is a single-player game with a chat window.
- Economy. If you cannot sell what you farm, the population does not matter.
- Clan activity. Watch recruitment channels. If established clans are still recruiting at the level you will reach, the server is healthy.
Why launch week matters more than any guide
Clans, market prices and rivalries on a server are set in the first two weeks. An account created on day three has an advantage that no amount of later optimisation can buy back. If you are deciding between "now" and "when I have more time", start now and play badly for a month.
