Lineage 2 Essence New Server Mint: Complete Starter Guide

Mint is the newest Lineage 2 Essence server. For a returning player it is also the best place to start. Nobody has hoarded Adena yet. No clan owns the hunting zones. Every account begins at level 1 on the same evening.

This guide covers the first three days. That is the window that decides whether your account becomes a real character or a dead alt you stop logging into.

1. Create your character and claim the new-player gift

Here is the most common beginner mistake. Spending an hour in the character creation screen before ever logging in.

Create the character. Enter the world. Claim the reward. New characters on Mint can pick up a 3-star spellbook gift after creation. Drop it on a spell that fits your role. If you are not sure yet, hold it. A spellbook wasted on day one costs you more than it costs anyone else.

2. Let auto-hunt work during your first session

Lineage 2 Essence is built around auto-hunt. Online or offline, the character keeps gaining experience while you are away, including automatic use of experience scrolls and runes.

That one mechanic is why Essence suits players with two hours a day better than the older chronicles. Your progress is not measured purely in logged-in time.

• Turn auto-hunt on early, then check it now and then instead of staring at it.
• Keep consumables stocked. Automation falls back on default behaviour when it runs dry.
• Move to a new hunting zone the moment kills get slow. At low levels, density beats safety.

3. Early leveling priorities

Your first goal is not gear. It is the level bracket where the daily systems open.

Once daily activities, attendance rewards and the mission board are available, your account generates value whether you log in or not. Push levels first. Collect gear on the way.

4. Join a clan in the first week

Mint is fresh, which means clans are recruiting people who are actually levelling. Not veterans who already have everything.

Being an early member of a growing clan on a new server is worth more than joining a top clan on an old one. Sieges and world bosses reward coordination, and coordination needs people at similar gear levels.

5. What to do in week one

1. Create the character, claim the spellbook gift, start auto-hunt.
2. Reach the daily-systems bracket and build the attendance habit.
3. Pick one leveling route. Stop changing zones out of boredom.
4. Join a clan that is active in your timezone.
5. Write down what your class is missing. That list becomes your week two shopping list.

New servers are the best case for casual players and the worst case for procrastinators. Mint will not stay empty. The people who start this week are the ones the late arrivals will be asking for help.
